Seems it's a bit of a crisis that nothing has happened when it's marked as planned 3 years ago. Things are going so slow that people are hounded over on other platforms like Homey..

Should work since it has worked before

When will it be possible to use IFTTT att with Futurehome. I used the soft one until it stopped working. I don't get to say, “Oops! This page was not found” on Futurehome when I try “Connect” in IFTTT.

Hi, is it possible to “croudfunde” this integration? How much does it take to put this in place? In my opinion, Futurehome got a little “poorer” the day it wasn't possible to set up IFTTT links. Used it, among other things, for geofencing so that the mode was set automatically when the last person left/first person arrived at the house and to control the sun shielding according to the weather. I think customers will get a lot more if integration is made possible. I am writing this in hopes that it will be a little higher on my list of priorities! 🤓

Is there still nothing going on here?
Jarle Kallevik
Jon Harald Øymyr: Just got feedback on a support request to FH. Referring here to this thread and “supported on old platform only”.
I'll probably switch to a more open solution that I can use IFTTT versus yes. Have been waiting long enough and things are going too slow on the progress of new things unfortunately.
For a pure remote control of heat regulation, the FH works very well, but if you need to automate it, it will always be too small for shoes.

It was asked if there was still interest in this quite exactly one year ago and nothing new after that.
Was it put on ice or was there enough interest to bring it forward?
It's a wonder there was no information or response when people asked for it.

Hey, can you guys at Futurehome say something about when ifttt will be in place?

Erlend Øyen
When is something else going to happen here?
Ifttt support could replace many other feature requests for integrations that may have a smaller number of users and that will never be developed anyway.

Mattias Godeseth
Erlend Øyen: I'm going to switch to different system, among other things due to lack of support for IFTTT. As soon as I get some time over I'll throw out Futurehome in favor of Homey.
E
Erlend Øyen
Mattias Godeseth: ifttt works as long as you've had FH long ifttt was supported before, found that it still works
M
Mattias Godeseth
Erlend Øyen: It doesn't work for me. Has old hub with latest software. I really just want to be able to use my Namron wall switches to be able to manage activities in Harmony, etc. This needs to be set up in new app and there is no support for ifttt.
E
Erlend Øyen
Mattias Godeseth: ok, have had FH for quite a few years now with old hub, I can use both old and new app, I had everything used ifttt, so maybe it works for those who have all established the actual connection. Even considered homey at a time when the stability of FH wasn't on top (api and app were down more than it was up for a period), but turned it off me when quadrangle smoke detectors weren't supported. Now there's a community developed app for these for homey. The advantage of FH is that they are Norwegian, so I think that they have a closer cooperation with electricity suppliers or other Norwegian technology companies. Homey pro also costs 3 times as much.
Good luck with homey!

Erlend Øyen: Have been working on other projects in the house, and put the migration from Futurehome on hold. Now I momentarily have some time to spare, and thought that for safety's sake I should see if IFTTT was in place at FH. As expected, nothing has happened in over a year, for a feature that we have had access to before. So then there will be migration, granted.
Tormod Tønnesen
Planned since May, will there be any solution this year? With IFTTT and position + a thingsplex flow we should be able to make a replacement for Life360 which is now shutting down and has already been a huge miss for a long time!
Espen Håland
is this still wanted even if IFTTT has moved over to a paid service?
Tormod Tønnesen
Espen Håland: Only parts of it is paid, and I (and many others I assume) have got the "set your own price for ever"-plan. So in short; YES!
M
Mattias Godeseth
Espen Håland: What Tormod Tønnesen said. Yes, please!
Aleksander Waage
Espen Håland: YES!
Ingebrigt Lunde
Espen Håland: +1

Espen Håland: yes, please!

Espen Håland: Yes :-)
Asbjørn Tunheim
Espen Håland: yes!

Espen Håland: Doesn't this just mean that Futurehome should create appropriate applets that cover needs that have not been solved in other ways at the request of customers? As far as I understand, this payment is only based on how many custom applets one can create, not how many one uses, or is there something I have misunderstood here?
